The article presents research conducted in the Municipal Public Education Network, with 6 children (6 to 8 years) of one of a multiseriate school located in the rural perimeter, in the interior of Santa Catarina, Brazil. The objective was to reflect on the relationships between children, nature and visual poetics, as mobilizers in aesthetic processes. The methodology was based on the narrative (auto)biographical, based on aesthetic experiences in five meetings with children. The results showed that the organicity with the elements of nature contributed to reconnect the mother earth, expanding ways of seeing/ feeling nature by the aesthetic dimension.
