Abstract

This article aims to explore concepts related to initial and continuing teacher education, teacher training as outlined by García and Imbernón, and continuing education for teachers in Professional and Technological Education. Additionally, it provides a brief report on the legal frameworks for Continuing Education for Teachers at IFBA. The study results from broader research on Teacher Education and Knowledge for Professional and Technological Education, conducted within ProfEPT – IFS Aracaju. The methodological path relied on bibliographic and documentary research, focusing on legislation and theoretical foundations related to the subject. From the analysis of these documents, it was possible to infer that IFBA has developed institutional actions; however, it is essential to construct an Institutional Policy focused on Teacher Education.

    Mestra em Educação Profissional e Tecnológica (ProfEPT - IFS campus Aracaju) ano 2023. Especialista em Docência para Educação Profissional e Tecnológica (IFES) ano 2022; em Psicanálise Aplicada à Educação e Saúde pela Faculdade Anchieta do Recife (FAR) ano 2013 e em Psicopedagogia Institucional e Clínica pelo Instituto Superior de Floresta (ISEF) ano 2010. Atuando como Assistente da Direção de Ensino (2012-2014; 2020-2021), Coordenadora Local (2012-2013) do Convênio PRH - PB 29 (IFBA e Petrobras), Tutora do Curso de Licenciatura em Educação Profissional e Tecnológica, oferecido na modalidade EaD pelo IFBA por meio do Programa Universidade Aberta do Brasil (UAB) anos 2018-2010. É pesquisadora do GEPT ( Grupo de Pesquisa em Educação Profissional e Tecnológica) do Instituto Federal de Sergipe (IFS). Interessa-se por estudos em: Educação Profissional e Tecnológica, Saberes Docentes e Formação Docente.

    Professora Titular do Instituto Federal de Sergipe (IFS). Professora do quadro permanente do Programa de Pós-Graduação do Mestrado Profissional em Educação Profissional e Tecnológica (PROFEPT). Doutora em Educação pela Universidade Federal de Sergipe (2013) com estágio de doutoramento na Universidade Lusófona de Humanidades e Tecnologias (2012). Mestra em Ciências da Educação pela Universidade Lusófona de Humanidades e Tecnologias (2006). Licenciada em Letras Português pela Universidade Federal de Sergipe (1993). Líder do grupo de pesquisa Educação Profissional e Tecnológica do IFS reconhecido pela CNPq. Atualmente, ocupa a função de Diretora de Educação Profissional e Superior do IFS. Tem experiência na área de Ensino e na área de Letras. Interessa-se por Estudos de Gênero e Poder, Educação Profissional e Tecnológica, Linguagens, Análise de Discurso, Psicanálise e Ensino de Língua Portuguesa.
