“Paths to teaching”: teaching training and autobiography in the archive in the Dr. Moura Fé

This present study analyzes the teacher training process through the autobiographical intention presents in the private archive of Dr. Moura Fé. He stood out in his work as a teacher and lawyer in Picos-PI, municipality of Piauí. It is about qualitative, documentary research in the field of History of Education, using the private archive of the aforementioned educator as a source. In this way, we reread about Piauí education at that time, with an emphasis on teacher training, revealing different ways of becoming a teacher, which were associated with the demands of the social and political context, thus revisiting educational aspects of the period covered.
