Popular Education (PE), committed to social transformation, is developed in the Latin American continent through the criticism of inequalities and injustices, through a methodology, including didactic, that considers and evidences the intellectual production of knowledge and knowledge. In this sense, the study presented here aims to identify the main themes addressed in some of the literary and academic productions of popular educators in Paraíba who are/were part of the Popular Extension Research Group (EXTELAR) and to analyze points of consonance and divergence in their publications with PE. This research is qualitative and exploratory, with the use of strategies such as document analysis and interviews to access the information that is later analyzed qualitatively.
