This research aimed to identify the pedagogical and methodological trends obtained in recent years in STEM/STEAM education in Brazil. The objective of this work is to outline a theoretical-methodological architecture regarding STEM/STEAM practices developed in Brazilian Education. A survey of articles was carried out on Google Scholar, from 2018 to 2023, with the definition of some search terms, through a systematic review analysis. From this survey, 26 works that were in accordance with the proposed objective were selected, categorized and analyzed. In this way, it was possible to identify two categories, one referring to the teaching proposal and the other on teaching and learning methodology/approach that resulted in subtopics with different educational modalities, providing students with a protagonist role in the learning process. Research on STEAM education in Brazil is still scarce. Based on this research, we can observe some gaps and shortcomings, so this topic needs to be explored.
