This study investigates interdisciplinarity, transversality, and critical thinking as essential elements underpinning Transversal Contemporary Themes (TCTs) in education, highlighting their importance in the holistic formation of students. The objective is to analyze how these "threads" connect and strengthen TCTs, contributing to a deeper understanding of social, environmental, and cultural issues, while empowering students to become agents of change in their communities. The methodology involves a literature review and critical analysis of academic sources relevant to the topic. Results demonstrate that the integration of TCTs across all disciplines promotes a more comprehensive and meaningful education, preparing students for the challenges of the 21st century.
