The objective was to show which educational paths in regular secondary education lead students to Youth and Adult Education. To this end, a bibliographical research was carried out with a qualitative approach, which showed juvenilization as a phenomenon driven by the difficulties faced within schools associated with the need to assume the responsibilities of adult life, which keeps young people away from the classroom. It is concluded that the modality appears as an opportunity to overcome the mechanisms of exclusion from the educational process, to complete high school and obtain a diploma in less time. This requires adaptation of educational practices and the school curriculum.
