Given that the media exerts influence on texts, this study aimed to analyze the language of news blogs in order to ascertain whether the texts posted there follow the standards of Scriptural (objectivity, neutrality, detachment) governing the traditional journalistic news (newspapers). Through analysis, we observed that the news posted on blogs follow other patterns, with significant marks of orality (subjectivity, personhood, proximity) in their composition. The study also points out that this is a trend in the expository constitution of on-line news.Downloads
