Abstract

Based on the need to promote literary reading, a project directly related to the concept of literary literacy, this article proposes a reflection on the possible relationships between literature and education. It seeks to explain some modes of constitution and performance of a set of literary practices and knowledge originally linked to the peripheral locus and a marginal logic, which may be designated as peripheral-marginal literature. This article is a qualitative study of a theoretical-reflexive nature, predominantly based on a literature review and conceptual analysis, in order to construct a critical interpretation of the relationships between peripheral-marginal literary production and extra-curricular educational practices.
