This study aimed to analyze the location behavior of vegetal production in the Paraná State through measures of location. The results indicate that the mesoregions of northern Paraná State are more specialized in crops such as cotton, coffee and sugar cane, while the mesoregions of Traditional Paraná are more specialized in crops like potatoes, beans and timber. In 1980, the potato crop was the most concentrated regionally, while the corn was the crop that had the highest standard of regional distribution. The corn continued as the crop more distributed regionally in 2005, while the sugar cane has become the crop more concentrated. The timber was the crop that made more significant changes in the pattern of spatial location between 1980 and 2005, while the cassava was the crop that made the changes less significant.Downloads
