In this article, we shall work with two areas of knowledge, Literature and Psychology. Our proposal, therefore, is interdisciplinary: we intend to analize a short story entitled Um Sonho e Outro Sonho, published in the newspaper A Estação (1892), by the writer Machado de Assis (1839-1908), from the point of view of the Psychology of Carl Gustav Jung (1875-1961), especially we shall work with the Jungian concept of Individuation. By means of this article, we expect to call attention to the importance of the studies working with the interdisciplinarity of Literature and Psychology, as well as we expect to be divulging Jungian Literary Criticism in Brazilian Literary Studies.Downloads
