The book has undergone a process of digitization in recent years, but, beyond this, it is necessary to recognize the phenomenon that can be called the platformization of literature, in which social media platforms reconfigure the narratives of books, placing them in constant drift. This phenomenon can be observed from three dimensions: a) creation, b) consumption, and c) circulation. In this article, the objective is to carry out an analysis of audiovisual materiality with the support of the map of algorithmic mediations to investigate the circulation and resistance carried out on TikTok by readers of the book O Avesso da pele, by Jeferson Tenório, after the prohibition of the work in a state school located in Santa Cruz do Sul (RS). As a result, the study found that, despite algorithmic asymmetries, there are initiatives of resistance being carried out by booktokers in order to confront censorship and racism.
