Abstract

This paper presents a framework of aspects on recently fiscal management of Pará State municipalities, with regard of expenditure in education and health sectors as well as the distribution of revenue transfers from the Municipal Participation Fund (FPM), SUS, FUNDEB and quota-share of ICMS, which are the main sources of funds of Pará municipalities. The standardized parameter for assessment of revenue and distribution of resources was the population of the municipalities, grouped by Regions Integration of Pará State. The information collected is for the years 2006 to 2011, using FINBRA - a database of the National Treasury Secretariat (STN) - as the main source of data.
