This study analyses the dilemmas and conceptual problems present in the discussion concerning the relationship between agrobusiness and familiar agriculture, in the contemporary capitalist world. The author proposes na interpretation that can exceed the idea, very common in the Brazilian society (specially in social movements that struggle for land reform and in some academic segments) that asserts that the familiar forms of production in agriculture are incompatible with the current development in the agribusiness sector. So, the study discusses how, internally to the agribusiness, in relations of selection / exclusion, unfold different social forms of production.Downloads
