The objective of this paper is to analyze the theory of poles of economic growth, applied to an analysis of the Paraná State scenery in Brazil. The economic growth does not occur everywhere at the same time. This process manifests itself in varying intensities in clusters, a fact noticeable in Paraná State. The core of the polarization theory is based on the deployment and consolidation of industries -industrial complexes - which in their growth process forward progress to the whole economy, through capital concentration, division of production factors or attraction of labor. The location of productive activities ordering the economic development of certain economic space, which is occurring in Paraná State.Downloads
