In this work the authors seek to unravel the meaning of the ideology of one of the most important social movements in Latin American scenario: the Movimento dos Trabalhadores sem Terra (MST). From the analysis of interviews with key leaders of the movement was possible to reconstruct its history from its origins as a local movement and a single claim (land reform) to a movement of national character with a broad view. Today the struggle for democratization of Brazilian society is its main claim that not only overcomes the struggle for agrarian reform, but the subordinates.Downloads
