The aim of this study was to evaluate aspects of logistics management in companies in a cluster, with interest in the analysis of logistics strategies based in integration and collaboration amongst the companies of the cluster. It was found that the logistics strategies are individual and companies do not search for alignment in their strategies. Thus, they fail to exploit the potential synergies arising from geographic proximity and similarity of operational processes. This attitude helps to inhibit the formation of partnerships, associations and cooperation between the companies, which could be an adequate strategy to overcome the weaknesses and deficiencies of small and medium enterprises acting individually.Downloads
