The article analyzes the dynamics economic of the state of Mato Grosso do Sul (2002-2009), with the aim of showing the changes accompanying sectoral and intra-regional economic growth of the state. More specifically, the aim is to show how the recent evolution of structures in terms of sectors and regions, follow the changes in the development of MS, especially from the transformations of the field and policy incentives. The final considerations show that despite recent changes in production, remain in state elements which mark its historical-economic formation, such as those related to regional development policies that determine strong agricultural orientation.Downloads
