Abstract

This work aims to relate the types of entrepreneurs who work in open markets in Rio Verde, Goiás with their adherence to the Individual Microempreendedor Program. A quantitative research was carried out and questionnaire with closed questions was used to interview 100 vendors. Correspondence analysis technique was used to verify the existence of associations between educational level, knowledge/adherence to the Program and the entrepreneurial type. Association between the variables level of education, adherence to the Program and entrepreneurial type was found. A fundamental education is related to the born entrepreneurs, who normally do not know the Program, or know but do not adhere. A medium level of education is related to entrepreneurs by necessity, who generally know and adhere. It was found that higher education is related to the unexpected entrepreneur.
