Abstract

The man’s work, when performed in inadequate conditions, may have consequences for the worker’shealth. Agricultural machine operators are exposed to various risks during their activities. Thus, the objective of this paper is to evaluate the safety and ergonomic conditions offered to the operator of a self-propelled precision forageharvester. The variables analyzed were the conditions of the means of access, the operator’s seat and mandatory items, which have been compared with the requirements of Regulatory Standards 12, 17, 31 and the international standards ISO. From the analyzed means of access, only the dimensions of the falls arrest system crossings and the steps do not have adequate measures. The conditions of the seat and the presence of mandatory items were satisfactory when compared to the norms.
